Odd Bunch
A grocery delivery service that focuses on delivering fresh produce that might not meet traditional retail standards for a low cost.
Do you need help affording groceries? Quest is BC’s largest not-for-profit food exchange program.
SFU will pass your information to Quest, and within a few days you will be able to access their not-for-profit grocery markets, which stock an array of food and household items at significantly reduced costs (50 – 70% less than most retailers).
A mobile app that connects users with local food businesses to purchase “Surprise Bags” of surplus, unsold food at a significant discount.
SFU/SFSS Food Pantry
The SFU Food Pantry is meant to support SFU’s food insecure student population with emergency top-up food and hygiene supplies.
They are open every Wednesday (except statutory holidays), from 12:30pm – 3:00pm. Please bring a grocery bag, as well as reusable containers to receive items such as rice, flour, and oats. The Pantry will provide up to 10 pounds/5 kilograms of fresh and dry food based on availability.
To register for the Food Pantry, please fill out the SFU Food Pantry Intake Form prior to your visit.
You can find the SFU/SFSS Food Pantry on the bottom floor of the Maggie Benston Center.
