Starting a Venture at CDM
MDM students have an opportunity to pitch a philanthropic OR commercial project in the Spring term. If the project is approved, student teams will be able to work on their project instead of a client project for DMED522 (Projects 3).

You and your team can work on the venture during your internship term. Internships FAQ page
Want to start a venture but have less than 3 people?
You can move forward with your venture idea through SFU’s Chang Institute. Note you will still need to enroll in DMED522 and work on a client project.
